Welcome to the website that supports the case of Katherine Zappone and Ann Louise Gilligan, to have their marriage recognised in Ireland. Katherine and Ann Louise are currently waiting to hear when their appeal to the High Court decision not to recognise their marriage will be heard in the Supreme Court.It is expected that this appeal will be heard in 2009.

This site provides background information on Katherine and Ann Louise's case and other relevant material. As they await their appeal, Katherine and Ann Louise ask you to support the MarriagEquality initiative that has been established with the aim of achieving access to full civil marriage for same sex couples.
